Approval Workflow Module
Is there a need for the content to be approved from the administrative users before it is posted to the site live? If yes, we have the solution. Our approval workflow module allows administrative users to modify or add new pages and submit their request to the appointed manager to approve their work. The administrator can assign up to 5 approval managers per section. Once the manager(s) approves the work the material is published to the site. That’s how easy it is!
Users can modify or create a page, save it as a draft, send it with three different urgency levels and request for the page not to be published until a certain date. Once a page is sent for approval it follows the chain of command of the approval managers in the order they were assigned. Approval managers are notified in two ways of the requested approval; first an email is sent to them with the appropriate notification and second when the approval manager logs in to the administrative area they are directed to the appropriate approvals.
Each approval manager can make comments to the page separate from the content. If all approval managers approve the page then that page is posted, however if one of the approval managers does not approve the page then it is returned to the user for corrections.
The user and administrator at any time can view the progress of a page in the approval stage and the number of times it has been circulated.
